Know Your State Lands Lease
TLOA encourages everyone in Nevada to read their Nevada Division of State Lands (NDSL) lease carefully, no two leases are identical. The six steps below offer helpful guidelines on what you need to know:
1. Keep a copy of your lease handy, better yet electronically, and make sure your family or attorney has a copy. 2. Know your lease number, the conditions within your lease, your land agent’s name and contact information. Know and calendar important dates:

Every 10 years you will be required to obtain a new lease. 4. If you transfer ownership, change title,or plan to sell your property during the term of your lease, you must notify NDSL.
