Every five years, the California State Lands Commission (CSLC) analyzes rental rates for piers and buoys. On June 2, 2017, the CSLC staff made a presentation to approximately 125 California lakefront owners and TLOA members to discuss their pier/buoy rent review proposal. Attendees had the rare opportunity to ask the CSLC staff specific questions and to voice their concerns about the complicated proposed rent increases and the benchmark system methodology.

The presentation was hosted and organized by TLOA.
TLOA will continue to work with CSLC in order to find a fair and expedient resolution, prior to any Commission action.
TLOA will provide updated information and progress to TLOA members as it occurs. Learn more in the 2017 Spring MONITOR newsletter and at the TLOA members-only Annual Member Meeting to be held Monday, August 7, 2017 at Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course.
